Enter IgorPetrov, without a space. That exact capitalization and joined spelling are visible immediately before the lobby computer opens in Kali Crumbles' demo recording at 1:12:18.

This answer covers the April 2026 Steam demo shown in the recording. It has not been checked against the full release, which is scheduled for September 22. The developer's removal announcement says some puzzles were reworked after the demo.

Confirm you are at the right computer

The password hint asks for the first and last name of the Horizon Probe's creator. Check that prompt before using this answer; it is not the birthday safe or another crew member's computer.

1. Open the computer's login screen and check the creator-name hint.
2. Enter IgorPetrov as one word.
3. Submit using the arrow beside the password field.
4. A successful login opens the computer's desktop. The video shows that transition just after the complete input.

If it still fails, compare the spelling and remove the space rather than copying a garbled automatic subtitle. The recording's transcript mishears parts of the name, while the input field provides the exact spelling. This guide demonstrates one accepted format; it does not establish that the game is case-sensitive or that every alternative format fails.

Where the clue comes from

For a hint before using the answer, inspect the exhibit and the rear of the puzzle stand. Players in the lobby-computer discussion point to the stand left of the computer and a circuit behind the display. They also report fast audio after powering the circuit.

A demonstrated 12V circuit layout

On the rear panel of the Jigsaw exhibit, match these five component positions while facing the circuit square-on. StoryOfTheGame's recording at 1:45:20 shows this complete arrangement with a green light and 12V on the display.

The finished board has all twelve reader terminals connected: cyan reaches four, magenta three, red two, green two and yellow one. Use the 12V display and green light as the completion check. The manual requires all power charges to be connected; placing the components without that result is not the demonstrated finished state.

Return to the front display labelled JIGSAW, 2371 and select PLAY AUDIO. The button is available at 1:45:33, and the display changes to AUDIO IN PROGRESS, PLEASE WAIT at 1:45:37. The button shows a one-energy cost; this observation is separate from the circuit's voltage.

This is a verified way to power the exhibit in the recorded demo. It is not a verified normal-speed layout: the manual says 11V+ and warns that excessive voltage can affect sound speed. Do not treat 12V as a promise of clear audio or this arrangement as the only possible solution.

Replay a clue already stored in K9

If you have already acquired the exhibit recording, open K9 with Tab, switch to AUDIOS, select JIGSAW.WAV, and press E to play it. The demonstrated PC controls are shown at 1:10:34; the file is visibly playing at 1:10:51, with a waveform and an E STOP prompt. Your bindings may differ.

StoryOfTheGame also opens JIGSAW.WAV in K9 after the powered exhibit plays; 1:45:56 shows the selected file, waveform and E STOP prompt. These two players independently demonstrate replaying the acquired clue. We have not measured playback speed or verified a particular speed-correction mechanism. If the file is not yet in your list, complete the exhibit step first.
