In the April 2026 demo, enter /000/ first, then enter Miranda's birthday in DD/MM/YYYY format. Use the birthday shown in your own game, including the full four-digit year. This sequence appears on the in-game Optima Vault instruction leaflet in StoryOfTheGame's recording at 23:49.
Version: This is a historical Steam demo guide. The developer announced that the demo would be removed on August 20, 2026, after changes to puzzles and other systems. The full game is scheduled for September 22. These instructions have not been checked against the release build. Official announcement
How to use the old demo's safe
- Check Miranda's birthday in your current game's records. Do not substitute a date from a forum or another playthrough.
- Read the Optima Vault reset leaflet. Its first instruction is
/000/; its second is the birthday in day/month/year order. - Enter the reset command, then the birthday using the leaflet's format. These are two stages, not one six-digit birthday code.
- Check for UNLOCKED. The demonstrated safe then tells you to use its handle to open it. Successful result at 24:29
Why a copied birthday can fail
The demonstrated playthrough records 01/12/2435. Separate Steam players report other dates, including 05/06/2435 and 14/07/2435. That does not establish why their dates differ, but it does mean that one copied date is not a dependable universal answer. Use your own record and the displayed instructions. Player reports
If you seem limited to six digits, check the reset step before shortening the year or removing separators. Players in two discussions report that entering /000/ first resolved this confusion. The second discussion hides its answer behind Steam's spoiler formatting. Birthday Code Not Working
If your leaflet or safe interface differs from the video, this historical guide may not match your build. There is no verified universal fix for every safe-input problem here.
What this guide has checked
The reset command and date order were checked against a readable game leaflet in the video. The same recording shows the unlocked safe. Independent Steam replies support the two-stage input method. This is source-based verification, not a claim that we personally played the demo.
