Rivage demo access card & barcode

On this page

Keep the identifier and barcode separate, and check the barcode's black-and-white orientation. After printing, scan the new card into K9. An April demo player fixed the “barcode not found” problem by reversing the black and white marks; the original poster confirmed the fix in the Steam discussion.

This guide covers the historical April 2026 Steam demo. Later demo patches added a key-combination leaflet, and the developer subsequently announced that puzzles were being revised. These instructions are not a verified full-release walkthrough.

Use the right information for each field

The identifier is printed on the front of Amaan's damaged card. The barcode is a separate pattern and number sequence. Do not treat the identifier as the barcode.

In Kali Crumbles' example at 55:55, Amaan's identifier is 2221045. The printed Level 02 card later shows barcode digits 4923861275. Those are different fields. They are documented example values, not a promise that every build or save uses identical values.

From rejected barcode to a usable card

  1. Inspect Amaan's damaged card and distinguish its identifier from its barcode.
  2. Compare your barcode with the references available in your game. A complete digit-to-pattern conversion table has not been checked for this guide.
  3. If the printer rejects what looks like the correct pattern, check which half of each mark is active. The Steam solution specifically reports reversing the black/white interpretation.
  4. Select PRINT PASS after completing the barcode. The demonstrated sequence at 1:00:02–1:00:05 moves from the barcode screen into printing. Its button shows a cost of one energy unit; this is the printer's displayed cost, not the cost of swapping areas.
  5. Take the new Level 02 card and scan it into K9. At 1:00:26, the recording displays AMAAN'S CARD DOWNLOADED and two lit access-level squares.

Printing alone is not the final check: confirm the K9 download and access-level change. A card image appearing on screen is not the same as a completed scan.

Demonstrated pattern for Amaan's 4923861275 card

The damaged card already shows 4923861275 on its back before printing. The complete input is visible immediately before the printing sequence at 1:00:02, followed by printing at 1:00:04 and the successful K9 scan at 1:00:26.

Read the ten groups from left to right. Each contains three bars. U means black on the upper half only, D black on the lower half only, and F black along the full bar. The full-black state matters.

What this guide does not assume

This is a demonstrated card layout, not a universal digit-to-barcode converter. It does not establish every digit pattern in every build or save. If your card differs, compare your own references instead of assuming this exact sequence applies.

If your game includes the later Amaan key leaflet, read that version's instructions first. If the interface differs substantially, the old demo sequence may no longer apply. Official demo patch notes
